the programs of Family Service Agency are designed to
help parents and children become strong, resilient families capable of successfully dealing with the emotional and economic challenges of life.

The goal of FSA is to stabilize and strengthen at-risk families so that they may become productive members of our community. Program services include individual and group counseling and focused workshops such as: positive discipline techniques, family budgeting, academic support, and enrichment and mentoring programs for youth. Services are offered from our headquarters offce in Hollywood and satellite offices throughout greater Los Angeles. Some services, such as our Family Preservation program, are offered in the family's home. Counseling is provided by licensed professionals, paraprofessionals and supervised interns.

Much of the work of Family Service Agency is supported by contracts with L.A. County Department of Child and Family Services, First 5 L.A. and L.A. City Family Source program.
