Giving the Gift of Education

Members of ALSC’s Pre-School & Kindergarten Auxiliary have established the book readingChildren’s Library Program to update the library at Children’s Club, making it a user-friendly resource center for students, faculty and parents.  Through donations from ALSC members and community supporters, new and updated reading and reference materials will be purchased and placed in the library.

The mission of the program is to reorganize, revitalize and update the Children’s Services Library, supporting education and a love of reading among students, families and staff of Children’s Services.

The donation of a book to Children’s Library is a wonderful holiday, birthday, tribute or memorial gift. Here's how easy it is to give the gift of education:

  1. Contact Judy Kloner (judy@klonergroup.com or 818-762-1871) for the Wish List Catalog and remittance form. Or, download the Wish List Catalog and remittance form by clicking on the links below.
  2. After selecting items from the catalog, make a donation in the pre-addressed envelope that will be provided, or use the remittance form that can be downloaded by clicking on remittance below.  Payment may be cash, check or credit card.
  3. Selected items will be purchased and placed in the library and inscribed with a bookplate commemorating the donor or honoree.
  4. A gift or holiday card will be sent to each donor and/or honoree indicating that the books(s) selected have been placed in the library.
